John combined all his skills in the 90's as Assistant Director of Aviation for
Communications for Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport and the Clark
County Airport System. There he:
directed all media relations, community relations, community education, and print/audio/video production,
handled issues such as noise, environment, expansion, funding, etc., and served as primary media contact in the absence of the Director of Aviation.
During his career, John also:
Directed media strategy for three successful U.S. Congressional election campaigns
Coordinated all events and appearances of a U.S. Congressman for six years
Directed the production of dozens of award-winning print/audio/video products
Made many presentations in public forums
Produced, hosted, and aired cable television shows
Wrote, produced, and anchored hundreds of radio, TV and newspaper news stories and features
Directed the creation and maintenance of McCarran Airport Internet website
Created and directed satellite television network for Federal Aviation Administration
